Practice in Peace

What do you think of "The Homeless?" Or should I ask, “Do you think of 'The Homeless'...at all?” Chances are most of us don’t want to think of "The Homeless"...in fact if you're anything like me...you wish “they” would just go somewhere, away from your neighborhood, out of sight. And that's unfortunate, very. And for some reason the other day I did think about “the homeless" person I brush pass almost everyday on my way to the metro. There was really nothing different about this day. As usual, there was the initial disgust, then a little anger, and inevitably the sadness as I hastened my get away. Really? I thought. Really? That’s the kindness you preach, the higher consciousness you seek to reach, the you find peace?” Well, as I angrily sped up my walk pass the homeless man asking for a hand-out, a few pennies, to get something to each (the plead came), Spirit checked in, that higher state of consciousness awakened, and I wondered where my bein
