The One That Got Away

Do you ever regret... "The One That Got Away"”? Conjure by-gone memories of “The One” you let slip right out of your arms. Or dance the shoulda, woulda, coulda dance with “The One That Got Away?” During those moments of daydreams (or nightmares) with your current partner; you stand there, wanting to just walk away; but you stay and instead take your mind away to “The One that Got Away.”  You want her back because now you realize she was a sweet girl and that wasn't a bad thing.  You want him back because you keep hearing good things about him in your shared circle of friends.  You want that person back because for the past 5, 10, 15 years you’ve had to deal with drama, after drama, after drama with :the one that didn’t get away” or because, after all these years, still doing dating thing in search of “The One That Got Away!” You may say,(well actually think to yourself), "Darn! Why couldn't I...didn’t I see back then that she/he would be The One That Got Away!’ I

Time Will Tell

Y ou ever feel overwhelmed, irritated and downright stressed when it seems you don’t have enough time to do the things you want to do? How about enough time to do the things you need to do? Does “time management” help when you feel time getting away? I think I do pretty well with "time management"; that is getting things done in the allotted time scheduled. And yet, there are those times when it seems I work too hard to get things done...in time/on time. Sometimes it even seems the pleasurable things become "management of time" and not the relaxed experience intended. So really, "How well is my time managed if the outcome is still feeling rushed, irritated, stressed?" Perhaps "time management" is not really the issue. Perhaps learning to "be present" is the issue. Perhaps no matter how much time we have (which we don't own) - we will still feel rushed, stressed, "pressed for time" when we are not being present. I’m a stron
